President

Pamela F. Rodriguez is president of TASC, Inc. of Illinois, a statewide, nonprofit agency that provides independent case management for people with substance use and mental health conditions. TASC serves approximately 25,000 adults and youth each year who are referred by Illinois courts, corrections, and child welfare systems. In addition, Ms. Rodriguez directs TASC's development, quality assurance, research, and public policy initiatives.

With three decades’ experience in program development, implementation, quality improvement, and administration, she is an expert in managing effective service delivery within complex service systems. She serves as liaison between TASC, large public systems, treatment and other service providers, and state and federal funding entities.

Ms. Rodriguez provides research, training, and consulting services for local, state, and national entities. She was appointed in 2007 to serve as a practitioner member of the Coordinating Council on Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention, an independent organization in the U.S. executive branch that coordinates all federal juvenile delinquency prevention and detention programs. She also served as board member of National TASC, a membership association of TASC programs across the country.

Ms. Rodriguez is a member of the oversight board for Redeploy Illinois, which supports local efforts to offer community-based alternatives to incarceration for juvenile offenders. She also is an advisory panel member of the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) Jane Addams Substance Abuse Research Collaboration, president of the Chicagoland Childcare Services Network, and member of the Juvenile Justice Commission and the Criminal Court of Cook County Principal Committee and Disproportionate Minority Confinement Committee.

She earned her master's degree in Social Service Administration from the University of Chicago.
