As Director of Communications and Marketing at TASC, Dion McGill leads the organization's efforts in strategic communications, marketing, and media relations. He collaborates closely with both internal teams and external partners to craft and disseminate messaging that promotes TASC's work, ensures adherence to brand standards, and enhances public engagement with the organization's mission.

Dion joined TASC in 2023, bringing with him a wealth of experience from his previous role as Manager of Communications and Community Outreach for Strengthening Chicago's Youth (SCY). Additionally, at the Illinois Council Against Handgun Violence (ICHV), he managed and facilitated the ICHV's education initiatives and programs.

Dion is a licensed Illinois state educator with experience teaching at both the middle and high schools levels, as well as a US Army veteran, and has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Sciences from Saint Xavier University. He was also a University of Chicago Civic Leadership Academy 2022 fellow. Dion's multifaceted career reflects his commitment to fostering positive change and building stronger communities through effective communication and outreach.
